Waiting patiently, until he can return home
She wins some. She loses some. She handles deportation cases every day, but when she wins, it’s a victory for a family who doesn’t have to say goodbye to a loved one. Melissa Lujan, an immigration attorney based out of Oklahoma City, leaves the courtroom and heads home. As she walks in the door and greets her 7-year-old and 14-year-old, she says, “Oh my gosh!
